Say It Ain’t So, Jo: Grey’s Anatomy Wouldn’t Really Make Link’s Bride a Widow… Would It?

Grey’s Anatomy can’t, right? It can’t kill off Link the episode after he tied the knot with his BFF and true love, Jo. He’d just found out that the twins that they’re expecting are girls. They’d just “honeymooned” in a Grey Sloan supply closet. They’d finally begun their happy ending.

Oh my God, the long-running ABC drama is going to send Link to the morgue, isn’t it? What could be more Grey’s Anatomy than that! This is, after all, the show that wrecked us with George’s demise, then smacked us with Mark’s death while we were still in mourning for Lexie.

It bears mentioning that the series has never cut Jo a break, either. She was abandoned by her mother and struggled mightily to build a life for herself. Her first husband was physically and emotionally abusive. Her second husband left her outta nowhere to reunite with an old flame. Her third husband…

Well, Link is pretty much perfect for Jo. He doesn’t always get it right, but he tries. And when he makes a commitment, he sticks to it. Jo would never have to worry about the kinda crap through which Teddy and Owen are always going.
